New Samsung Gloria 10 inch Windows tablet

There is a rumor making the rounds that Samsung is preparing to start a new 10-inch tablet in March or April. While the company best known tablet at the moment is a 7-inch model called Galaxy Tab, which runs Google Android, the upcoming model will supposedly be a Windows 7 Tablet. But that’s not so unusual. There are many touch-screen tablet with Windows 7. What makes the rumor Samsung Gloria different is that there is a sliding keyboard, have found perhaps similar to the slider-style phones, unless you know more.

OLPC Tablet Coming Soon

Back in May was One Laptop Per Child founder Nicholas Negroponte to start the organization chart, a touchscreen tablet version of the already ambitious XO laptop. The plan was that the tablet from the CES 2011 launch for less than $ 100. Negroponte announced this week that make the organization is not capable of this event. “We will miss CES by 45 days,” he said in an interview. “We have something in mid-February.”

New Teclast T720 Android Tablet

After the PMP and digital reading room, Teclast is now pursuing the tablet segment, with its Android Teclast T720-3GE tablet that has a 7-inch WVGA display and runs on Android 2.1, which means that Adobe is Flash content not work on this device.

HP Slate 500 Windows tablet on sale now

It looks like the HP 500 is the ship from Slate. Tablet PC Review forum member heatlesssun got his hands on one of the first units. HP is positioning the 500 as a slate tablet business, rather than a consumer-centric iPad competitors. The computer runs Windows 7 Professional and should be able to handle a variety of Windows applications. In addition to a capacitive touch panel, the Slate 500 is a active digitizer for pen and ink work.

Heatlesssun reported that the pen works fine, but palm rejection is not that effective out of the box. Third-party software can help. The computer has allegedly decent view, but not really compare to the iPad IPS display on that front. The HP 500 is Slate by HP for $ 799 and higher.

ASUS Eee Note EA800 Pen-Based Tablet is available in Taiwan

LAPTOP preview of the Eee at Computex Note EA800 press conference in May. At that time it was simply known as the Eee Tablet. Creative ZiiO 7 inch Android tablet at the FCC

It looks like the Creative ZiiO 7 Tablet Android could open the way to the U.S. soon. The people of wireless goodness discovered an FCC listing for the product, which is an important step for a gadget with Wi-Fi components to take place before the launch in the U.S..

The ZiiO 7 features a ZiiLabs HD processor with support for HD video playback. It has a 7 inch, 480 x 800 pixel display, 8 GB to 16 GB of memory, 802.11b/ g WiFi like on Alienware AM11x-826CSB and Bluetooth. The tablet has an HDMI output and a microSD card slot for expansion.

The Creative ZiiO 7 is expected to run to about 199.99 and in Great Britain. There is no word on how much it cost in the U.S.. But you can buy cheap software.

New Nokia Z500 Tablet

Nokia secret Z500 tablet rearing its head again in another round of rumors. The tablet started some form in June, with rumors of a 7-inch or 9-inch touch-display and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics Meego addition to the operating system, probably take. Woow Digital’s Tablet with Android 3.0 For Christmas

When it comes to the 10-inch Tegra 2 tablets, the tablet Malata (early) one of the most popular having being renamed several times in different countries. Woow! Check out the company’s website they have a few other budget Android-based tablets, got a soon thereafter as well as discounted software. No mention of this Tegra 2 tablet though.

Asus Eee Note EA800 sketch tablet in details

It’s been a while since you pocket lint news for Asus’ Pad brought in May, in fact, when we reported on the then unnamed tablet out of Computex in Taiwan to live, when it was first announced. But now it is already publicly revealed, in Web form at least, as the Asus Eee Note EA800. And a stack of specifications are also listed.

While it is unlikely that we will see, the Eee Note this year – rumors are currently scheduled its next public unveiling for CES 2011 in Las Vegas, January – we now have confirmation that the bizarre hybrid device that you can draw You can make voice recordings, has worked as a camera and eBook reader.

The Velocity Micro Cruz Tablet is a 7-inch tablet, Android hits the most Tablet (but not all) of the sweet spot for a cheap Internet. First introduced a few months, the tablet is available now as well as HP Pavilion dv6-3010us.

The most important is the Android Market. You need to side load or download apps from the app instead of larger market cruz custom Google Android’s Market.

It also looks like Velocity Micro to three capacitive touch buttons on the side of the case for home, decided to build menu, and Back functions. There is no search button. I suppose if you fall away to some of the standard Android keys, the search button would be the first since does not use any app it go – but I can not quite understand why throw Velocity Micro is not only a search button good measure.
