Rumor: Huawei S7 Android tablet to ship in the US

The Huawei S7 may not be as cheap as some tablets Android beat the market this week, but with prices ranging from $ 354 to $ 460, it is a decent alternative to Apple IPAD Google Android fans. It features a 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel capacitive touch-screen display, a 768MHz Qualcomm processor Snapdragon, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth and a 3G modem.

The Lenovo S10-3t tablet also has a 2MB Webcam, a 2200mAh battery, a gravity sensor, a SIM card slot, light sensor, and pretty much everything that can be expected of an Android-Smartphone – including access to the Google Android Market and Lenovo Ideapad U550 Review.

Last month Expansys USA started, started more advance orders for the Huawei S7 tablet, but that model is $ 360, barely, but ship – despite an initially estimated delivery date of the 7th July. Well, so far has returned to the 6th September pushed.

But eXpansys is another model that is virtually identical to Apple MacBook Pro MC226LL/A except for the fact that it comes with a 32GB SDHC card. And the dealer says this version should be released 30th be July. I had to take that date with a grain of salt though. Since the only difference between the two models is the bundling of high capacity SDHC cards can not help myself, but wonder if Expansys could begin selling the cheaper model in this week also, but to decide only offer the more expensive model because of the limited supply and the urge for a little more money.

At the other hand, it is possible that one or both of the ship dates are simply wrong – or that eXpansys is receiving units with SD cards in the same box direct from Huawei bundled and has no control over the availability of different music. But the only U.S. dealer for this device at the moment, it would be nice if Expansys would supply accurate data to put on his website every once in a while.

Asus Eee Pad EP101TC will run Android instead of Windows CE

The Eee EP101TC pad, you want to run Windows CE, is ditching Microsoft’s operating system for Google’s Android.

The Eee pad is on display at CES 2011, the availability and will be some time in the early 1st Quarter of 2011 begin.

Features we are from that point an 10-inch touchscreen, a know thickness of only 12.2 millimeters and a weight of 675 grams.

It is also reported that deliver Asus carrier partners with preview versions of the device is in December, so expect many more details then at the latest.

Need carrier partners in the first place seems to have also apparent that the Eee pad is 3G connectivity and can be promoted in some markets just like Asus G51JX-X3 was.

Presumably, the version of Android is running, it will always be the next release after 2.2 Froyo. Gingerbread is whether or not named, whether 3.0 or not remains to be seen.

Then one of the reasons for the early market introduction in 2011 was the operating system itself – Asus laptop officially waiting for Google to release first (this should be done in the fourth quarter of this year).

Or maybe Asus just want to see how well the many tablets, set, want to start selling in Q4, “they can adapt their production or the Tablet functions accordingly.

HP shelving plans for Android tablet

One objective of HP to produce an Android-based HP tablet has at least delayed and possibly scrapped, now based on leaks. The unit was planned for the autumn, but now delayed without updated schedule. No indication was given of AllThingsD’s sources of direct reason why.

The barn may be a cancellation. HP announced on the day its acquisition of Palm webOS tablets had promised and was immediately cast doubt on any plans for the use of other operating systems. Although Microsoft has implied otherwise, downplayed many of them even have the HP Windows 7 slate and suggested that it would have either delayed or even killed in the interest of webOS.

The Windows Tablet was originally his heart on HP laptop, but it is rumored to face problems, such as the insistence on the desktop, Microsoft OS, they also have a great disadvantage to the IPAD. Forced to cut an Intel Atom use battery life in half next to his rivals and even necessary, that HP requires to make more RAM and memory are much larger footprint for Windows like at HP ProBook 4510s. Android would be to achieve the goal, but also conflict with the Palm platform.

Acer’s 7-, 10-inch Android tablets seen arriving in fall

PC maker Acer will start selling its seven-inch tablet, and a previously mentioned 10-inch model in the fall of 2010, sources in the notebook industry claimed today. As suggested in the past, the slate on ARM chips will run and use Android, and the company in negotiations with mobile phone operators into the market and possibly to subsidize the prices. The couple is said to have DigiTimes Android 2.2 and Adobe Flash support, along with other media-playback features.

Acer already sells e-book reader and alleged plans to work with Far EasTone Telecommunications for selling them in Taiwan like Acer TravelMate 5730.

Having already shown a seven-inch display as a prototype tablet pc just before Computex, little doubt existed because the smaller model would at least arrive this year. The tablet, promises some of the first major competition at the IPAD, as are virtually all the tablets outside the Galaxy Samsung Tab either small businesses or not come this year. Acer laptop is currently the second largest notebook manufacturer in the world after HP and is more balanced with Apple, which already has three million tablets now have to compete on the market.

Fujitsu LifeBook U820

Intel has a lot of work to do to with the Atom processor before it is ready to power next-gen mobile devices. Crippled for speed, it has very little useful application for anyone who uses a computer for something more than simple e-mail, Web, media and time management.

Of course, if it describes your needs for the next flight to Tahiti, or if you can find most laptops overkill if you only have in the library, nuclear – and the brand-new nuclear powered LifeBook U820 Mini-Notebook Fujitsu-study – might be just right. The U820 is a fun, eye-catching Fujitsu laptop, but a big disappointment for serious business users and techies. Fujitsu LifeBook U820 Review

Fujitsu LifeBook U820 Review

The Fujitsu LifeBook U820 is so small, at 6.73 cm, 5.31 cm wide, 1.46 m deep and 1.32 pounds, it could work almost like a pocket portable. We say almost, because it makes the battery is too great, little, unless you have huge pockets. The black-matte finish, crisp screen, keyboard and unusual all of your attention. But if you start with the U820, you may not like it so much. The keyboard is tight in any case, and the system is underpowered for games or videos. It works okay for Music, and the keyboard is tolerable, how to find out the tricks. For example, you can more quickly with the tips of both index fingers. The gotcha is trying to shift key for caps to-use, especially the A button. Watch out, will start the finger cramps immediately if you have more than one page.

Fortunately, there are four – yes, four – alternative input methods, including voice-to-text, a pen, integrated mouse and touch. We mention, because the speech U820 runs the Tablet PC version of Windows Vista, and the unit has a microphone jack. The pen is very difficult to use – the screen resolution is so fine that each specific Click to register not very good. The unique mouse controller is much more useful. Move the cursor with a rubber button on the upper right corner and click with the left and right mouse button on the upper left. The U820 also supports touch control. The problem here is that Windows Vista has a poor touch interface. Fujitsu has a very limited touch-enabled widget software program, but there is only so-so. We did not install on Windows 7 touch and test functions, to avoid the wrath of Fujitsu. The screen on the U820 also converts the mode which is handy tablet. The device features a fingerprint reader supports Bluetooth, can read SD memory cards and Compact Flash, and has a USB connection – ideal if you use the device with an external keyboard, and want to write a novel.

Performance on the U820 is just terrible. With a few episodes of The Office on the device was to induce pain, and not just because the character Dwight is so annoying. In full-screen mode, video and audio would break would fall behind the video stream. Games are a no-go, as there is no graphical capabilities for 3D and 2D games still have.

The display is crisp just annoying – it runs on 1280 x 800, so you find yourself squinting like Clint Eastwood use at any time. Ratchet down the resolution does not help, because it means only Windows does not use the entire screen. Another limitation is worth mentioning that the U820 does not have built-in mobile broadband, although you can simply use a USB adapter for the service. Fujitsu says it’s as an option on this device.

What we do, such as the U820′s battery life. It will not die easily. On a recent trip to Silicon Valley, the unit took about six hours continuous operation. For occasional use, you can expect them to go all the Energizer Bunny for you for a week or more, occasionally checking e-mail and surf the Web via the built-in Wi-Fi. Fujitsu includes a Wi-Fi range-extending antenna to the device and a VGA adapter to connect it to an external monitor. There is also a docking station available. For those that have a webcam chat with buddies as the U820 is one of those, too. With 1.3 megapixels, it worked very well with Windows Live Messenger, and the video looked clear. We even used it as a functional digital camera in a pinch.

BUY FUJITSU LIFEBOOK U820 NOW AND GET A SPECIAL DISCOUNT!

We want the U820 as a film and photo playback device. Sure, it’s an expensive MP3 player, but the 120 GB hard drive is large enough for all your MP3 files, Neal Diamond and many more. Photographers you love the device for slide shows. Fujitsu offers an option of a 64GB SSD drive, install, and forego the hard disk that it would be just a bit brighter.

Overall, the U820 a good mobile device for a particular type of user. Players and those who want to give up long documents should avoid it. Kids might really like the small keyboard and webcam. It is an excellent music and photo machine. If the narrow screen and keyboard does not do it Chuck off a cliff, it is a good choice – especially for the mobility and multiple input options.

Cheap Touch-Enabled Netbook with Rotating Screen Spotted in China

Cheap Touch-Enabled Netbook with Rotating Screen Spotted in China

Here again we have one of those produced in China netbooks that do not get very probably on the international market. So, you’re only option would be to import this netbook from China, if you are worth it when your hard-earned dollars.

acer timeline 15.6″ as5810-4657

Anyway, the netbook we speak, this is detected a by Shanzai who has a personal touch swivel screen. It’s obviously not the original, but a piece of renamed repackaged and revised netbook so it looks like a convertible machine.

For information – Intel Atom N270 CPU, 945GSE chipset, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive and all the usual activities – Bluetooth, camera, card reader and built-in 3G. What is not so clear why this netbook runs on Windows XP to Windows 7?
