Intel’s Sandy Bridge processor line on Alienware M17x notebook

We are still waiting for products with Intel’s Sandy Bridge processor line feature but someone out there has managed to get hold of an Alienware M17x notebook and it has some juicy benchmarking scores.

Google announces Chrome OS developer notebook

Google has developed the first laptop to the Chrome OS operating system introduced. It’s not really intended for the general public, but the new CR-48 is a 12-inch notebook will be available as part of a pilot program for developers and other testers. While the CR-48 should not be a consumer laptop, it gives us an idea of what Google expects from its hardware partners.

The notebook has a 12.1 inch display like on HP Pavilion DV5T, full-size keyboard and large Clickpad (a touchpad with integrated action to take separate mouse buttons). It is an integrated Qualcomm Gobi 3G wireless chip. In the U.S., users will be able to use Cr-48 on wireless network of Verizon, but it should work with a wide range of mobile operators around the globe. The notebook also has dual-band 802.11n WiFi and a webcam. Google claims it is more than 8 hours running time, or 8 hours standby time. Google is accepting applications from users in the pilot program by the test want to take the CR-48.

If you go for a consumer-oriented netbook need you are expected by mid-2011, Acer and Samsung, some of the first Chrome OS Laptops wait for launch are looking for discount software. New Dell V130 ultra-thin business notebook now on sale

HP adds $530 G62x notebook

HP has just gently a new flagship notebook added to complement the currently available G62m and G62t. The 15.6-inch G62x gets a standard 2.26 core i3 and the 2.2 GHz Celeron 2 GHz or Pentium Dual Core found respectively in the other two. A 2.4-GHz Core i3 is optional.

The notebooks otherwise the same 15.6-inch, 1366×768 screen resolution, Wi-Fi like on HP Compaq Presario CQ62-225NR, HDMI output, three USB 2.0 ports, DVD burner and a six-cell battery. The G62x starts at $ 530 after $ 100 instant rebate and is available immediately. The G62m and G62t start at $ 430 and $ 450, respectively.

15.6-inch notebook with 3D display from Acer

Acer has a new notebook, the AS5745, which is introduced into the situation display of 3D content. The device is built around a 15.6-inch display powered by NVIDIA GeForce 3D vision technology, discrete graphics components like on HP Compaq Presario CQ62-225NR.

The base model comes with a 2.53 GHz Core i5 Processor, 4 GB RAM and a 640GB hard drive. Other features include HDMI output, Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi and a webcam.

The AS5745DG is expected on 3 December in Japan come with a price of “less than 100K yen (~ $ 1,200 USD). It is unclear whether the notebook will be given to the North American market, but the company 3D-capable 5738DG model is already in the United States.

HP G62x Series Budget 15.6″ Notebook

Hewlett-Packard has the HP coal G62x series that the same notebook as the biscotti-colored G62t is released, but with less internal component options. According to HP website is the G62x designed for business users and comes with the Intel Core processor i3 only while the home-use G62t is configurable with Intel Pentium and Core i5 CPUs. The G62x comes with up to 320 GB of hard drive and a DVD burner, while the G62t ships with up to 640 GB of memory and adds Blu-ray optical drive decisions.

Other components and features of the two G62x and G62t look the same. These budget laptops with Intel HD or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics card, 2 or 3 GB RAM like on Samsung NF310-A01, 6-cell battery for up to 5.5 hours of running time and a 15.6″ LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1366 768 pixels come.

The laptops are equipped with an optional Webcam, stereo speakers, 802.11b Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, a 5-in-1 card reader and HDMI and VGA video outputs. The HP G62x starts at $ 549.99, while the G62t starts at $ 479.99. The company also offers the HP G62m that comes with low-cost Intel Celeron processor, integrated graphics, blue chassis and a $ 429.99 base price tag.

Fujitsu LifeBook T580 convertible notebook coming soon

At first glance, the Fujitsu LifeBook T580 as a typical netbook. It has a 10-inch display and a slim and lightweight body. At second glance, it looks like a convertible tablet-style netbook Netvertible or because you can rotate the display, fold it down over the keyboard and use the device in tablet mode. But there are at least two things that really the LifeBook T580 from every netbook on the market: price and performance.

By definition, Netbooks are cheap. The T580 is not. I am not an advocate of saying that netbooks have less power than more expensive notebooks. If someone is willing to push a Core i7 chip in a 10-inch netbook and sell it for $ 400 I would not complain. But the folks at Notebook News.de report that the Fujitsu LifeBook T580 sell for up to 1599 or around 2200 $ U.S.. So as much as it looks like it’s not a netbook. It still looks like a heck of a notebook. First introduced in September it looks like the Fujitsu LifeBook T580 set, shipping to Germany to begin in late November. At least one dealer is a product listing for the laptop such as Alienware m17×10-1847DSB.

While there are several configuration options available, describes the product listing of a machine with a 10.1 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel multi-touch capacitive display and an active digitizer for pen input. It has an Intel Core i5 560UM processor, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB, 7200rpm hard drive and runs Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit. The laptop supports WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G wireless connectivity and features a 6-cell, 5800mAh battery. There is no word on when or if the T580 is available in the U.S..

Sony launches Vaio Y notebook

Sony is certainly no stranger to making thin and light computer, but the company has a tendency to premium features and premium price tags, it is difficult to confuse with the notebooks/ netbooks make offer. Also, the Sony VAIO W line of the 10-inch notebook with Atom processors, which are fairly typical netbook price tend to cost more than most netbooks on the market. So it is probably should not surprise anyone that Sony’s latest 11.6-inch laptop has a price tag of well over $ 1000 … at least in Japan.

The new Sony Vaio Y VPCYA19FJ has a 1366 x 768 Ixel 11.6″ display, a 1.33 GHz Intel Core i3 380UM processor like on Alienware m17×10-1813DSB, 2 GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. It has Intel graphics, wireless, Bluetoth and a battery, which Sony says should be good for up to 6 hours of integration. While Sony has not officially announced the price.

HP Envy 17 3D notebook will begin shipping on November 5
