New Asus UL30 laptop

What happens if you take the Asus UL30, undermine and replace the processor with an Intel CULV Atom chip and NVDIIA Ion graphics? I have no idea, but the folks at Phecda have the next best thing by producing a clone called UL30 done Phecda P13. The notebook has a 13.3 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display and the same case design as the original Asus UL30, although the keyboard looks lke it from an Acer Aspire notebook has been broken.

There are only two (rather large) problems. First, the 2450mAh battery probably will not be a lot of maturity. And second, the laptop is unlikely to show up anywhere outside of China in the foreseeable future.

Asustek has announced a series of new devices and the first on stage is a simple Eee pad only costs are $300. This one should arrive in October. The company, based in Taiwan is the latest on the Tablet PC in cash directly to the test train in, on some of the success that Apple has had with IPAD. But the Eee pad does not become a threat to the IPAD at all, it is more likely to be current eReaders a run for their money, however.

We do not yet know if the Eee pad that will keep the name, say some call it the Eee could be notice, would also be an apt description for this device. The new tablet is an 8-inch LCD touch screen and will run on a Linux operating system. The device appears to be directed at students in the first place because it has three main functions. He works as an eReader, it is designed for surfing the web as onboard Wi-Fi, and you can take notes on it with a stylus on the touch screen like the Archos 9 PC Tablet.

It also comes with a camera, so that students can take snapshots of white boards, lectures and an audio recorder to record lectures. Battery life is excellent, if the 10 hours live without reproach, that Asus claims that it is. You also get 2 GB of memory and a MicroSD slot.Asus are also planning three other models of Tablet PCs, and these clusters can also competitors for Apple’s IPAD have been if it had come earlier, but they are not expected to appear until early next year.

Apparently Jerry Shen, Asustek’s CEO, expects that to compete with Apple, you have to be not only cheaper, you have to offer more features in order to ensure that they want it right before the start. You could be from a teaching that take Apple! Two of the tablets will run the sport, a 10-inch touch screen, but it is on Android and the other 7th on Windows Embedded Compact The Android version will probably cost in the region of $400 and the Windows version around $500.

Asus N82JQ-A1 Reviewed

There are a lot of Asus N82JQ A1-how. Its modern, art-deco design pleasing to the eyes, plus it thoughtfully constructed (with a scratch resistant case). The Core i7 processor and 1GB 720QM Nvidia graphics card GT335M make him a beast of a gaming laptop, with greater performance than the notebooks in its class. At its native resolution (1366 x 768) and settings on max (high detail, 2X anti-aliasing), we averaged a very playable 54 frames per second in Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare. There is also a good number of connections, including HDMI, USB 3.0 and E-SATA.

Unfortunately, the N82JQ-A1 short of gas and stalls on the street with a very poor battery life (2 hours and 2 minutes), not acceptable for a 14-inch Asus notebook. We also recommend these games exclusively on a desk at all times, how our system enables a scorching 130 degrees for 20 minutes in a gaming session.

At the end of the $ 1,200 N82JQ-A1 is difficult to recommend when it comes to overall value and the battery life is a total bummer unlike the Asus G51JX-X3.

Asus to use Android on the Eee Pad

Many manufacturers have decided to Google’s Android OS instead of Windows 7 use of tablets Asus is another. There has decided to ditch Windows 7 for Eee his pad EP101TC for Google’s Android.

We are not sure which version of Android will use them, but the Eee pad will be launched in early 2011, so we hope it will Android 2.2 or higher. We give additional information if we have them. But now you can take a look at ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE.
