Dell begins to show the next Vostro V13 thin and light notebook. It’s part of the management of the company’s business notebooks and has a professional-looking interface. But with a $ 450 entry price, this laptop is likely a general audience and appeal. It is 0.65 inches thick and weighs only 3.5 pounds, which makes them thinner than most 10-inch netbooks and just a bit harder.

I write about Netbooks for over 2 years, and now and then someone is not the point, and suggests that low-cost laptops have for a long time and that you will get a much more powerful laptop for the same price, a netbook if you are willing are themselves a little bigger and heavier saddle.

While the Dell Vostro V13 with its 13.3-inch screen is definitely bigger than a typical netbook or 11 to 12 inch thin and lights, I’ve started, the attention, it is not much bigger and it is certainly the price and the weight to the right. I can not think of 3.5 pounds of computers that were available for $ 450 a few years ago.

The Vostro V13 is reportedly an Intel Core 2 Consumer Ultra Low Voltage processor, 4GB RAM, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet, an integrated card and rechargeable batteries, Dell claims is good for up to 4.75 hours.

This is certainly not to sell part of Thanksgiving, but the sale of Dell Vostro A90, which is currently available for only 184 $. What? Wait until you excited about this netbook to recall that the Dell Vostro an 8.9-inch display, Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, has 8 GB SSD, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, and 4 — cell battery.

I personally am not a big fan of fashion over function netbooks, but there is obviously a market for them.

No matter how much we protest netbooks subsidized, ie the ones you buy from a carrier they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. Today Sprint announced the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 will sell for $ 199 with a two-year contract. This is the first Sprint subsidized netbook, AT & T and Verizon already have a handful on the market.
