Well, that’s not exactly a new idea, but is a resurrection of the old. Apparently, it was almost a decade (nine years to be exact), when IBM rolled his Workpad Z50, which powered by Windows CE 3.0, with a styling cue from their industry Thinkpad notebooks alongside a 131MHz MIPS processor 4100, Solid State storage and a phenomenal battery life of up to eight hours. Fast forward nine years and we have 3K’s RazorBook 400 CE, is an upgrade to the RazorBook debut last June, with a familiar Windows interface, with Windows CE 5.0 and Microsoft offers Internet Explorer, RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) client, Skype and Windows Media Player with Adobe Flash support.

It is funded by the Ingenic 400 MHz 32-Bit Single Core Mobile Processor with 128 MB of RAM and 4 GB of flash memory, a 7 “WVGA TFT-LCD display, Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, a trio of USB 2.0 ports, an SD Memory Card Reader and a measly 2-cell 2100mAh battery.
