Samsung XL-2370 Review
Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 is perhaps the thinnest consumer monitor we’ve seen. At least as far as the 48mm panel is concerned although the state of course adds to the depth. It manages this by not only an edge-lit LED backlight and super-thin TVs from Samsung, but by splitting the AC adapter into a brick – and a big brick is.
The chassis is mostly composed of black and clear plastic, all shiny – which means Ahoy fingerprints. Fortunately, this trend does not continue to the screen itself is matte, which means that the XL2370 minimizes the glare and reflection of two evils.
Is a 23-inch, 16:9 screen, the XL2370 joins the ranks of the high-resolution monitors, displaying at 1920×1080 Full HD ready.
The XL2370′s, although the beautiful translucent with a hint of blue, is effectively nothing, offering only tilt. Despite the thinness of the neck, the XL2370 is actually very solid and does not wobble too much when bumped or adjusted. There is no cable to speak of management, although ports are mounted parallel to the monitor, which somehow going to alleviate mess.

Performance
A slight banding was present in the testing process, as well as light purple and green colors, display a common issue. The XL2370 also flickered on four tests of the pixel run – most do not monitor between one and four of these tests.
Measured relative to a Samsung SyncMaster 975p CRT, and using a Canon 40D set at a shutter speed of 1 / 320, were on average more than 60 photographs taken using Virtual Stopwatch Pro. The average result came as DVI 6.98ms, a very low time. It is worth the occasional 30ms difference emerged in the sets, so on the rare occasion you might lose around two frames, but the difference should be detectable.
AE is to measure how far a measured color deviation from the expected value, so we changed the color of a monitor to determine authenticity. As an AE value of 1 is consideredIt should be noted that the color calibration of the XL2370 a series of difficulties with the i1Display 2, not measured blue shifts until we all colors reduced to one starting around 1940. After this point, the process went as usual.
While a monitor may have an HDMI port that is no guarantee that you display images as expected. We connected a PlayStation 3 and monitored for 24p capacity and judder and ran the HQV Blu-ray test to see how well it coped with an interlaced source and noise. While gaming is fine via HDMI, we would not recommend watching Blu-ray movies on the XL2370 or 1080i content.
The panel itself is quite deep commitment, and the ring is piano black, which means that during bright scenes the screen can be reflective on the ring, which will be distracting for some brands.

Conclusion
The stylish XL2370 impresses with its contrast ratio, small screen and relatively low power consumption. The price actually stabbing but thanks to LED backlighting, and it is certainly not for color professionals, but players certainly like it a lot. perceptible, while less than 3 the shift should not be too obvious. HCFR was used to determine the AE monitor.
Note the very high post-calibration contrast ratio, along with the perfect range of 2.2. We also managed to screw most of the grayscale to an acceptable level, and some of the green and a bit of pressure to reduce blue, but the colors are still a little loopy. If a consumer has to check, the XL2370 not give us the checks we have to continue to resolve.
