New Toshiba Qosmio T750

As far as I know, and know my source, this is the first color changing computer. Apparently the use of nanotechnology to change from green to blue and then purple.

This is done without any metal, which is better for the environment. Other features include a 15.6 inch screen with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution display like on Asus U52F-BBL9 Laptop, a 2.66 GHz Intel Core i5 480m processor, 4GB of RAM and a 750GB hard drive. I do not like a price or availability date at this moment.

New Enspert E201 Android tablet

Dynamics recently announced that it will take pre-orders for the Android Enspert E201 tablet starts from February 1 on, where delivery is tipped to start in a few weeks time. with a shiny new tablet device – This must be a pretty good way to usher in spring. Apparently, this model comes with a 7-inch 800 x 480 pixel display rather than one with a higher resolution with the neighbors, so it does not just justify the $ 349 price, though we appreciate that pack more features because this is not a premium brand to begin.

New Enspert E201 Android tablet

While Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are supported, it does lack 3G though. Other hardware specifications include a capacitive touch screen display, a 1 GHz processor Samsung Hummingbird, front and rear-facing cameras, with Android 2.2 Froyo (phew!) and certified for Google Mobile services, such as Android Market (hello, Angry Birds!) SunBook from Clover Systems

The Clover Systems SunBook of October 1-inch netbook to ship with a transflective display, Pixel Qi. That means you netbook in full color mode for viewing photos, watching movies, or doing just about everything you would expect to do on a netbook. But you can also kill the backlight of the display into a sunlight readable high contrast, low power mode to view. That you can use the notebook outdoors or just to save energy when you do not need color or backlight.

SunBook from Clover Systems

I got a chance to SunBook at CES see earlier this month, and for the most part looks like a typical netbook – until you turn off the backlight when it looks like a netbook with an E Ink-style display . Unfortunately, that Pixel Qi screen comes at a cost. The SunBook went on sale this weekend for $ 795. That’s actually a bit less than the price the company was advertising a few weeks ago, but the high price tag is clearly going to disable a number of potential customers.

The rest of the specs are pretty much standard netbook fare including a 10.1 inch 1024 x 600 pixel display like on Asus U52F-BBL9 Laptop, 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. The computer runs Windows 7 Starter and a touchpad with multitouch gestures to support 3G and 4G options, and a battery that Clover Systems says it is good for 8 to 12 hours of operation.

Asus U52F-BBL9 Laptop Review

The Asus U52F-BBL9, a trim, lightweight laptop that offers a blend of performance and portability that are hard to beat. For users looking for a combination of productivity and portability, the Asus-U52F BBL9 offers processing and graphics power that can be used in the office and on the road.

Design

It’s hard to keep your hands off of the Asus-U52F BBL9. The all-plastic construction is made incredibly tangible with the use of rubber, soft-to-the-touch panels on the lid and palm rest. U52F combines the dark metallic gray with navy blue almost black, a surprisingly trendy combination that easily beats the looks of many business use of laptops.

Asus U52F-BBL9 Laptop Review

The keyboard is chiclet-style, with a compact numeric keypad. Despite this, the numeric keypad never felt cramped or busy. It is big enough for number crunchers to use with comfort, but not moving the full-size keyboard too much for the traditional typists. The elevated wrist rest offers an ergonomically comfortable typing experience that will be appreciated by anyone who spends all day on the keyboard. The trackpad has a silky matte finish that slides right under the fingertips. The right and left buttons are combined in a bar, but it’s responsive enough that few users will wish for two different buttons.

Weighing 5.9 pounds, the U52F is much lighter than comparable 17-inch laptops, like the Dell Inspiron 17R (6.7 lbs), making it a laptop that you would like to tote to and from work or school. Because of its low profile makes it easy to catch, just 1.3 inches thick.

Features

Although BBL9-U52F Asus does offer a powerful mix of efficiency and convenience, it does not offer many extras. That is not to say that the U52F-BBL9 not a trick or two behind their hands. Besides the standard VGA output, headphone and microphone jacks, and RJ-45 LAN connection, you’ll find three USB ports and an HDMI output. A multi-format card reader you can use a variety of flash memory cards without any adapter. The integrated webcam is ideal for Skype and video chat, and 640GB hard drive provides enough storage for music, movies and games.

On the laptop you’ll find not one but two power buttons. It works the way you might be familiar with and mdashit powers of the unity and boots Windows. The other is a Quick Start button that powers the laptop open and ASUS Express Gate – an embedded Linux-based operating system that bypasses the lengthy Windows startup to access the web almost immediately. It has surfaced on a number of recent laptops and netbooks, and Asus has begun offering a range of machines.

Asus has also quietly put multitouch. While other laptops such as the HP Pavilion dv7-4083cl offering more gesture controls, the Asus-U52F BBL9 exercises a little restraint, limiting the user’s two fingers scrolling. Unlike the recent HP Pavilion – which all have complaints about the multitouch – this feature is perfectly executed. It reacts when you use it, not the problems with false positives, and it requires no further attention.

Performance

Compared to other recent notebooks in the $1000 range, the U52F-BBL9 appears to be fast, powerful system. The PCMark Vantage score of 5908 places it next to the HP Pavilion dv7-4083cl (5677) and Samsung R540-11 (6190) in terms of processing power. All three use Intel Core i5 processors with U52F-BBL9 using the M460, a small bump of the M450 used in the HP dv7-4083cl and Samsung R540-11. Our Photoshop CS5 test runs by several intense processing tasks that most systems slow as a snail. While high-end graphics-intensive systems easy jog through them, most midrange systems lurch and stumble, often earning periods longer than 6 minutes. The U52F-BBL9, on the other hand, scored a respectable time of 4:45. It did equally well in our video tests, filling out our video encoding test in 2 minutes 41 seconds compared to 3:26 scored by the Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7046.

The U52F-BBL9 also a good performer, earning scores in the 3DMark 2203 and 1982 at medium and high resolution tests, edges along the HP Pavilion DM4-1160us (2123 and 1809).

The end result of all this hardware is a system that performs very well when working with images and video. Amateur filmmakers feel that the video editing and encoding programs that normally overwhelm the processors in other mid-range laptops will run smoothly and efficiently on-U52F BBL9.

Asus U52F-BBL9 Laptop Review

The 6-cell 63Wh battery is slim and light, but still supplies power for the better part of a day. 5 hours 52 minutes of battery, which offers BBL9-U52F is good. The 15.3-inch screen makes the device less than 17 inch versions, making it a relatively portable system.

Although not an ultra-light or low-voltage system, the Asus U52F-BBL9 offers a higher level of portability and performance than many of her colleagues in the $ 1000 price range. Those looking for some entertainment options to add to their work machine may instead opt for the HP Pavilion dv7-4083cl, but customers looking for a no-nonsense-U52F-BBL9 Asus laptop will find to be more than up to the task.

Last Q2005  Gigabyte netbook will be powered by an Intel dual-core processor N550, where we think it is capable of providing a decent level of performance, although the screen leaves much to be desired in 1024 x 600. slowly under par in the 10.1-inch world.

For some, the lack of 1366 x 768 would be a deal breaker, but if you can get past the profile and build quality at first glance seems very solid.
