Samsung BX2350 23-Inch LCD Monitor Review
There is no shortage of choice in the LCD panel market at the moment, and while many manufacturers are now geared towards the LED backlight market only a few have done it so stylish as Samsung. While a rather subjective claim that his BX2350 one of the aesthetic we have seen, and that’s a lot to the rugged, angular chrome support.
Complementing this is an extremely slim and lightweight panel with a fascinating rough surface on the back of a plexiglass bezel and the touch-sensitive controls. Unfortunately, Samsung has made some sacrifices in terms of flexibility here, and a 10-degree tilt adjustment is all that is on offer. Twin HDMI ports show a clear tendency for media and gaming use, and although there is no DVI port in addition to analog VGA, one HDMI-DVI cable in the box provided.

A typical range of adjustments in the on-screen display available and when they take a while to get used to it, we have checks to be more accurate than many competitors. Having said that, it would be an area that do not really “modernization” in our opinion, effective controls are tactile is easier to navigate. The included software MagicTune duplicates many of these, however, and allows users to adjustments by a comfortable window on the screen to make. This offers a plethora of tuning functions and many are carried out by the use of “Magic” branded automated controls to color, eco mode and reaction time changes with presets for games, video, standard and custom environments.
Overall we were impressed with the color accuracy and contrast in the tender with the BX2350, and although there is some time to work through the different settings to adjust to its effect, it is always easier than doing it manually will determine the same. Video playback was very impressive and a high refresh rate of 2ms means that the reaction times are excellent in eliminating ghosting and motion blur. The colors are accurate and although some backlight bleed, which is in darker scenes, we were generally with the performance on offer evident pleasure.

Additional features include the ability to improve the tweak screen viewing angle with magic angle, and although we saw an immediate difference, it was not too strong. It is also possible to configure individual links to some of these effects and to prevent on-screen controls, which is a useful convenience.
Overall this is a neat, well-designed control panel that, although more restrictive in certain areas, offers impressive performance and a decent selection of intuitive design. It is a compelling solution for multimedia applications and while a little expensive to be worth the extra effort in the right environment.
Conclusion
Samsung BX2350 is a fascinating panel that make sacrifices for its aesthetic merits, but justifies this with impressive power and good software support. Apart from being a decent all-rounder we were impressed by his skills with video and gaming use, and although it takes a while to get used to the settings and controls on the screen, still seems to justify the relatively high price.
