BenQ U105 Netbook at IT

TIF for cheap for something with a 1 year warranty then the global BenQ U105 netbook could search for you. First of all, its for sale at IT Month 2010 for $ 330 including all taxes and the feature that this unit would be set apart from other netbooks, the screens would withstand capability of 35 pounds of pressure. I have not test, but an extremely solid, press on the back of the screen that showed Color reflection or distortion led me to believe this could have upped the ante on quality build BenQ.

BenQ U105 Netbook

The BenQ Joybook U105 is equipped with the latest Intel Atom processor and built N450 N470 with preinstalled Windows 7. I was not able to test it on the show floor, but has this 10-inch model of SRS TruSurround HD and CS improved headphone audio technology. Microsoft to show Windows tablets at CES

Sure, Microsoft pretty much invented the Tablet PC category over 10 years … But the company’s vision of tablet computers, which all characteristics had a laptop, and a touch screen and pen input for drawing, writing notes, and handwriting recognition picked up never in a big way with consumers – at least not like the Apple iPad has in recent months.

Microsoft to show Windows tablets at CES

In January, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer on stage at CES and showed the world an HP Slate which is supposedly a sign of things to come should be. It was not. Almost a year later, the HP was concentrated Slate 500 as business unit and not as consumers take iPad tablet released on. According to Ballmer and friends are said to preparation for the second round. The New York Times reported Ballmer will show new slate computers at CES 2011, companies such as Samsung and Dell as the next generation of pen tablets or HP W2338H Monitor.

According to The New York Times’ sources, the Samsung Windows 7 tablet has a slide-out keyboard of some sort , like the Samsung “Gloria heard” sound device, we recently. While some people are skeptical that slaps are making a touch user interface in Windows 7 really consumer-friendly tablets like the Apple iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab (because under the hood, Windows is still developing a resource-intensive operating system to run on a wide range hardware and offer business and productivity-enhancing features, not just consumer-oriented applications), it’s clear Microsoft has to do to ward off the competition.

AMD Athlon II Neo K145 CPU now in Acer Aspire One 721 netbook

This summer, AMD Nile makes its line of processors that offer better than Intel’s Atom performance without too much more energy than an atom chip. The result is computers like the Dell Inspiron M101z and Acer Aspire One 721, the HD video playback, zippy performance, and provide more than 5 hours of battery life with AMD K125, K325, K625, and chips.

AMD Athlon II Neo K145 CPU now in Acer Aspire One 721 netbook

While AMD is expected to be a new line of low-power chips to start early next year it looks like at least one member of the Nile got family to upgrade early. Acer is a product listing in the Czech Republic for a version of the Aspire 721 notebook with an AMD processor Neo K145.

The K145 seems to be a few details with the K125 chip share, including a 12W total power draw and 1MB L2 cache. But while the single-core chip K125 a clock speed of 1.7 GHz, has high on the K145 at 1.8 GHz. It does not seem to be a dual-core chip as the K325 and K625 processors. The rest of the Aspire 721 specifications are unchanged. The laptop has an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display like on HP W2338H Monitor, 2GB DDR3 memory, ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics, 802.11a b /g/ n WiFi, Bluetooth, a 6-cell battery and a 1.3 MP -camera.

HP W2338H Monitor Review

Three-quarters of the way through our product testing regime, we saw HP led unremarkable 23-inch display to a verdict of 6 or 7. It has some nice features as well as a few odd omissions, but at this point we do not have anything that would set out from the crowd and was so addressed. But then we came to the extreme phase of the Greyscale DisplayMate benchmark and our eyes almost emerged from their caves.

HP W2338H Monitor Review

This test makes extremes in the gray levels, starting with boxing and more intense shades of gray to black and then display a white background. The w2338h had been no problems passing the first half of this test and as expected, if we shades of blue, red, magenta and cycled. But the monitor proved to be incapable of distinguishing between one of the high-intensity displays shades of green on a fully saturated green background. What should cyan boxes were shown on a cyan background, as yellow, yellow box and what should have been made on a yellow background, green, instead.

The HP w2338h state is one of the features that we like. It vertically and horizontally, or you can completely remove, install the display on the wall. We assume that we could w2338h the poor showing of the fact that on an LCD panel, capable of delivering only six bit color depth based attribute, and that frame-rate control is used to simulate the production of 16 – plus millions of colors, but we have a number of disks that are not six-bit/FRC exhibition has the same problems we have seen saw this monitor. The monitor’s color space is limited to 72 percent of the NTSC color space, but that is not unusual with.

The rest of this monitor defects seem relatively low, but we are very critical of his image as nature. We were constantly distracted by reflections if there is a bright light source behind our group, including natural light through windows in an adjoining room. This was much less of a problem if we darkened the room and the only light source was in front of the monitor, but these are set limitations, we are not prepared with. And while we welcome the presence of an HDMI port, we were surprised that the monitor has a VGA port as well, but no DVI port. Adding to make it worse, does not HP pack an HDMI cable in the box. VGA and analog audio cables are included, however, so you are not completely out of water when you bring home the monitor. Come on, HP, when are you going to let a cable out of business, why not skip one, no one will use anyway?

The w2338h surprisingly well in our Blu-ray test, especially when it comes to the many scenes in Watchmen, which was develop in deep shade. But the built-in speakers are so underpowered that we could not hear much of the dialogue, even if we Dinky 2-watt amplifier cranked to its maximum capacity. We encountered the same problem when playing the dialogue-rich Fallout 3 The audio output would not be as much of a problem if there is a headphone jack that you could headphones or powered speakers to plug, but it’s not.

If you are monitoring the market for an inexpensive, it is to have plenty.

stumbled across two interesting Tablet Android related stories today. First Best Buy now offers the Dell Streak 5-inch tablet Android for $ 99.99, if you for a 2-year data plan with AT &T. That is down from the $ 299.99 that Best Buy had loaded.

In other news, there is a new version of the tab named Galaxy Luxury Edition, which a price tag to match his name with elitist. While a typical version of this 7-inch tablet sells for $ 650 or less, the Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition will be available at the Millionaire Fair in Amsterdam on 15 December to 31 January for 749, or almost $ 1000 U.S..

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition has the same specifications as the standard version, including a 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touch display, a 1GHz processor Hummingbird Samsung, 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth. But the premium model comes with a leather case and Bluetooth headset. Hardly worth the extra price if you ask me, but I think this is part of the definition of luxury.

The Dell Streak, on the other hand, has a 5 inch, 800 x 480 pixel display like on Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q893 and a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The $ 100 price tag applies only if you sign your soul away for a 2-year service contract. If you buy the tablets (or big phone) really want, you need to spend closer to $ 500.

Toshiba expects to grow faster than the PC industry average in the last few months of 2010

Toshiba Digital Products GM Jeff Barney mentioned on Monday that Toshiba expects to grow faster than the PC industry average in the last months of 2010as well as Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q893, but that Microsoft had some rare fluke in 2009. He estimated that his company would own in the same quarter in the “low teens” to see, but rarely was. While healthy, most of the industry to grow by only a few percentage points, because Microsoft had a rare confluence of a new operating system version and the height of the netbook fad work to their advantage, “said Barney Reuters.

Toshiba expects to grow faster than the PC industry average in the last few months of 2010

“I think last year had some unique factors that provided Windows 7 Launch a little bump a” he said. “And of course netbooks around the holidays into a true popular gift such as discounted software.” The estimate could see Toshiba hold or gain share in the summer, when it grew more modestly, and held on to fifth place in the United States. It could still see the gap between himself and either Apple or Acer, depending on whether Acer can expand from a rare loss of market share again. Apple has historically Toshiba strongest competitors in the U.S., but was surpassed in the industry this year.

Netbooks could before the steepest decline. Companies like ASUS are apparently reducing Netbook expectations with the expectation that the iPad would affect sales and other tablets. Microsoft Windows 7 has seen continued sales, a new record for a first year set of publication, but the traditional cooling in the long-term demand may curb its share.
