Alienware m17x10-1847DSB Review
Alienware they are back with their most powerful portable gaming machine, done the M17x. We have recently established our hands on this huge toy and put it through its paces. Read what we thought of the Alienware m17x10-1847DSB.
Now we do not mince words, this animal is absolutely great – has not for the weak, this laptop everything you expect from an Alienware PC – and it is an animal. It’s a big, thick, slot machines and we love it! The M17x weighs about the same as a small child, but it is proud of this fact. As a bodybuilder, shows off the M17x, just with a bulky case that cut the right thing.
It’s hard to call this a laptop computer because no one in their right mind would as such. The M17x for all intents and purposes is a desktop replacement – a portable gaming PC. Do not get me wrong, because this is undoubtedly a good thing. No laptop could with the power of the M17x, but we’ll get to later.

The bulky-but-sexy Alienware chic design is complemented by the crazy lighting. I call it crazy, because the configuration you have seen nothing – just think Alienware would provide this amount of customization. Not only can the colors of the stickers on the back and front, the mouse trackpad, the ‘lights’ (front fans), you can also use the keyboard up to 4-color screen at once. Whether you’re in the mood for a Rasta flag or are completely Gaming Blackout, can meet the M17x.
There is no question here about it, can run if the M17x. This is probably the most powerful laptop on the market. Modern Warfare and Battlefield 2:: It was very easy Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on high graphics settings. MMORPGs with its high GPU calculations weren’ta problem either, it was World of Warcraft and Star Trek Online as a dream.
Some areas of this notebook could be improved, hard drive space and weight. The computer on the hard drive was pretty disappointing for a gaming computer, but I understand the weight is inevitable – it’s a trade-off we make for the power.

In all honesty, the weight of the M17x think the only aspect that is always 10/10. This is by far the best laptop I ever used gamed on Nevermind. If you are in LAN parties this could be particularly useful because of the portability. If your computer never takes off at home though, you can consider an actual desktop computer – there is not much difference in specs at the moment, but you gain the ability to expand capacity.
