HP Pavilion Elite m9550f Desktop Review
HP Pavilion Elite m9550f is not as complete as less expensive rivals equipped. And, unfortunately, fail to respond to his performance, which many machines, regardless of price, on our Top 10 Value PCs chart.

Four USB ports on the back of the shiny, black-gray chassis are connected by a Gigabit Ethernet port, one FireWire 400 port, built-in 7.1 surround sound and an optical S/PDIF output. The front of the case is a little short on wire connections, and offers only two USB ports and one FireWire 400 port. This means you can stuff an HP Pocket Media Drive or drive in one of the available covered storage bays. A multi-format card reader, the system completes the excellent connectivity. In a perfect world, although HP would have insisted on its proprietary drives for simple, 3.5-inch hot-swap bays that each drive could put on the market. A boy can dream, right?
The case is a standard m9550f HP affair, but it looks better than average drivers in the HP Stealthing almost all ports, drives and expansion slots is a long way to improve the aesthetics. I do not say much, but I really would not mind sticking device generic HP under my desk – it is as attractive as a corporate design PC can have.
