Nvidia announces GeForce 400M Series Laptop GPUs
Nvidia has officially released the GeForce Series 400M dedicated graphics cards for notebooks.
In addition to the recently launched GeForce GTX 480 million, the top of the line model, the 40nm “Fermi” architecture-based 400M Series is now the hgih-performance GTX 470 and GTX 460M and mid-range GT 445m, 435m GT , GT 425, GT and GT 420M 415m.
The new GPUs support DirectX 11 Nvidia Optimus, CUDA, PhysX, and 3D vision technology and performance enhancing Verde Notebook driver.

According to Nvidia, the GeForce series GPUs 4xxM up to 40% faster on average than their counterparts 3xxM.
The 400 series chips will first be integrated into laptops from Acer like as Acer Aspire AS5741-5763, Asus, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung and Toshiba.
