New Toshiba’s AC100 Android smartbook
Toshiba’s UK wing today finally started to take orders for the first Android device, the AC100. His smartbook unveiled in June is available in its Wi-Fi-only version for 293 ($ 451). The core model ships with 8 GB storage capacity, even though Toshiba’s web site falsely stated 128GB.

All versions of the 10-inch, 2.1 ultraportable Android running on Dual-Core NVIDIA Tegra 250, there is HD support both on the central display and one HDMI, and 512 MB RAM as well as Acer Aspire AS5251-1513. The choice instead of Intel ARM is the AC100 eight hours of battery life even with a light 1.9-pound weight.
A 3G version of the famous 10U is still in development but not yet available so far. It should be basically the same, with the exception of a HSPA modem, the network can only support the 2100 MHz band for full speed, but will roam in North America on Quad-band GSM and EDGE.
