Very nice, minus the bloatware

In my experience with the nightmarish Asus 1000HE, I decided to try out the NB305-N310. So far I'm really enjoying it. I had a problem on the first day, and because the Asus experience, almost packed it and took it back because I did not want an expensive paperweight. It was agonizingly slow, and in a few occasions, froze, requiring a restart. The second day, I deleted Norton and some of the other programs from startup and I have no problems there. In fact, I've decided I do not need to upgrade the RAM, now gone, there is the bloatware.
I like the feel and the layout of the keyboard that is on this model, the battery life very nice, and it is a convenient weight as the Asus. I wanted to stick with XP now, so the added attraction of this unit. I also like the Sleep-and-charge port, which in handy when I travel and come not near a mains socket.
Dislikes: the lack of Bluetooth (adapter took care of that), sub-par speakers and webcam, and delete the above-drainage system included software (more of which I plan to soon). None of those are deal breakers, though, as long as the device stops working.
Total'm glad I bought this unit I, and I hope nothing happens to change my mind on that. It does what a netbook should do, and that is all that I can only wish.
