Slate 500 Tablet Shows Off on HP Website
Hewlett-Packard is the HP 500 Slate Windows 7 release-based tablet device, according to leaked information about the company’s website.
The Slate 500 (XB830PA – HP 500 1002tu Slate PC) has supported a 8.9-inch touchscreen display with pen input, and runs Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. There are also two (video and still) cameras.
Earlier reports said that the HP Slate, the Intel Atom Z530 processor, 32GB or 64GB of storage space and feature support for 1080p video playback like on HP Mini 210-1010NR.
It is reported to cost about $ 550.
HP is also expected to unveil a similar tablet PC with WebOS Operating System, made by recently acquired Palm.
