Rumor: BlackPad (BlackBerry Tablet) to cost $499

We had already heard that the pill shipping would begin in November. The latest rumor brings a few more details (which may very well be wrong). Word on the street is that Taiwanese OEM Quanta is the tablet for Research in Motion to build. RIM hopes to 2 million units laptops review by the end of 2010 ship, and another 8 million units next year.

That sounds pretty optimistic. But if you told me that Apple would iPad 3 million in the first three months I had not thought likely to either sell. I think we are about to find out whether the IPAD is just a hit device from a single electronics company or, if there is demand for an entirely new class of tablet-style computers and space for several companies in this space to compete. We know that RIM is not just the only company to initiate a tablet this year so check out the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 Upgrade.
