QuickBooks 2010 for Mac Review

It is much for Intuit QuickBooks 2010 for Mac to be satisfied, and unfortunately still pretty much to be disappointed, too. While Intuit learn to make an effort QuickBooks easier to use and have now finally has the opportunity to pay by credit card to get inside the application, the program is still missing the most important functions and the home interface introduced last year remains a rather Patina as an indication of depth change.

QuickBooks 2010 for Mac is in many ways that the management of your business and income was to facilitate improved. This is particularly true for users who QuickBooks. Intuit has streamlined the setup process, so that it takes less time to create a new company. While the older versions had a sophisticated setup process that lasted up to 15 minutes, with QuickBooks 2010 I had a new company file in less than two minutes. There is also a new Guide Me (function of the on off in the upper right corner of the home switch), the highlights and helps you learn how to use QuickBooks’ main features. Although helpful, but Guide Me is probably only of benefit to be inexperienced users.

What’s likely to be a huge benefit for many users is the addition of Merchant Services, so that means you eventually be able to accept credit card payments from QuickBooks. This payment for the service ($ 20 per month, $ 60 setup) now integrated into QuickBooks and allows you to accept and securely store client credit card information. You can now email invoices to your customers and offer to send more personalized messages when you are bulk e-mail.

QuickBooks includes a new free application called “My time that you track time and then press the data recorded in My Time on specific customers and jobs in QuickBooks can. My Time works well, but unfortunately there is no iPhone or iPod Touch version of the application, which it is a fundamental feature of the online administration tools such as Ball Park, and the bill are Machine.

While Credit Card Processing has finally been crossed off of this list, multi-user capability, cross-platform files and online bill pay have not. As in a story on the release of QuickBooks 2010, Intuit, that they are, “is reported on, and want to tackle.” This is good news sounds like, but it does not explain why these functions have not been added to QuickBooks, or whether they will be offered in future releases.
