New Ideapad S10 10″ Netbook from Lenovo
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10 is a small, efficient and affordable laptop with 10″ screen diagonal. Smaller laptops are becoming increasingly popular, and Lenovo’s excellent reputation for quality laptops makes the IdeaPad is of particular interest. The S10 goes to the market for only $399, so that there could be an affordable option, the perfect gift this holiday season.
The Ideapad S10 is available in five colors, but currently only in black and white. Red, blue and pink are the other choices that will be available in the near future. The system weighs about 2.65 pounds, making it an ultra-portable suitable for business people, students or other people on the go. Since only $399 prizes, there are unplugged of course some disadvantages, such as lower power processor and 3-cell battery, which provides for only three hours of operation. The battery capacity is low due to its size weight, so that the total weight of the Ideapad S10 minimized. However, we believe that Lenovo should have offered a higher capacity as an upgrade option. The IdeaPad keyboard also not up to the ThinkPad standard live.
As in notebook performance, it uses an Intel Atom N270 processor@1.6 GHz and 1 GB of DDR2 memory (like in new Toshiba Mini 300 Series NB305-N310). It’s no Alienware, but it does the job for the average user. It is about 6 light programs and one or two heavy applications at once. Hard-core programs such as Maya, Photoshop and After Effects could be too much to handle for the system. The small size of this laptop is something that the eyes of the people will begin to move, love, and its price is a great option for this season.
