New Gaming Notebook ASUS G50V-A1
The ASUS G50V-A1 is a new 15.4-inch gaming notebook on the market come this holiday season. The G50V-A1 is one of the best machines, manufactured by ASUS Performance-wise, but it has other problems than if it is your intention should be used heavily on the “Gaming Notebook” for the intended purpose. The notebook offers excellent performance with an Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 powered, high-quality WSXGA + display and numerous features that make the system stand out. It is even with useful accessories, which are usually not with a laptop, including a backpack and gaming mouse bundled. The G50V is covered with a two-year warranty, and the first year includes accidental damage coverage as well. The ASUS G50V-A1 comes with a recovery CD that can be useful in an emergency.

When the system was taken as a business machine market, we could stop writing with an unusual. But while the laptop offers great stock performance, the G50V-A1 is over clocking and power management capabilities are not so good. Even if the machine was nearly flawless during regular use, it is always a plus for them to carry out during rigorous benchmark tests (World Bench Mobile Mark, etc.). Another serious problem is that driver support for widescreen resolution (1440×900), which would be missing come in handy. It works perfectly in its normal resolution of 1680×1050, but to step down to 1280×768 for a decent widescreen resolution does not look good.

The G50V-A1 comes with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit, 4 GB DDR2-800 RAM. The notebook includes an 8x DVD-RW Super Multi drive, 8-in-1 card reader, integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, and Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5100AGN with built-in Bluetooth support. Overall, the G50V gaming platform is a quality. The design and many features are great. The graphics card uses it (the NVIDIA GeForce 9700 GT) is a bit below for an ASUS because it is very underpowered for a gaming laptop. The A1 can be purchased for just under $1,600, but it can since the ASUS G50Vt-X1 can be expensive $ 1,250 are purchased. It is a cheaper machine, but it has a Core 2 Duo processor, 15.6″ 1366×758 display and a NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GS, which just a better video card for a gaming platform.
