Windows 7 Home Premium is the version that consumers – such as for business users to – to do most likely. As such, it includes new tools and options that most home users will be attractive and those who use their computer for entertainment.

We have been impressed by the much improved Windows Media Player, now up to version 12 New streaming capabilities that allow you to share not only media over a home network, but over the Internet. And the “Stream to” function makes sending music to DLNA-certified players is a breeze. With an intuitive user interface, it is a great way to control a large MP3 and video library.
In contrast to the cut-down Starter Edition is the Windows Aero user interface is fully installed, and it is not only there to look pretty but intuitively with your computer.

Other powerful functions are missing, however: There are no BitLocker encryption, no remote desktop, and no Windows XP mode. Home Premium is back up and restore the local hard disk or DVD backups is limited – more versatility is available with the Professional and Ultimate editions of Windows 7
So powerful users and tweakers should serve the payment of additional, but if you explicitly need one or more of these advanced features that most home users will still best by the excellent Windows 7 Home Premium.
