Is Apple Releasing 7-inch iPad for Holidays?
According to Taiwanese newspaper Economic Daily Times, Apple will reportedly release a smaller, 7-inch version of the IPAD. It is said, suppliers would be the Chi Mei 7-inch IPS (In-Plane Switching) screens offer similar to the IPS screen made by LG that the current IPAD used. Even if the screen would be smaller, says the rumor that it will have the same resolution and in turn a higher pixel density like on Dell Inspiron iM501R-2272MRB.
If the iPhone’s screen is an allusion to the future, we doubt that Apple would change the IPAD’s screen so soon, if at all. Apple has always preferred to keep a simple product line-up, although an offer and an IPAD IPAD Pro is not unreasonable. Other publications have thrown their hat into the rumor pile, adding that the next IPAD 512 MB RAM, a Cortex A9 processor (dual core maybe), works better with Quicken Home & Business 2010 and weight less to 1.1 pounds. As usual with these rumors, we will not know until Steve Jobs and the crew give their plans known.
