I got this computer a week ago. I chose this one after much research. It comes with the new Intel Core processor i3 and 500 GB HDD and 4 GB of RAM. He has HD display and is equipped with Windows 7. There are four USB ports and an HDMI port. The only this is I do not like that the display (larger or smaller) has only two settings.
Comparing it with a Dell Studio, it's a better price point and has more features memory. The web cam is also nice. Previously I had an HP with a Web cam and this is much better. The multi-gesture touchpad is interesting. It works, but needs time to adjust to the techniques. I'm really enjoying the computer. It is pretty fast and it has the memory I need for school work. I strongly recommend this computer, but I'm not an expert, just a consumer.

Gateway Laptop NV5937u - in love with it!

I love this new laptop! It has the hard drive capacity and processor power on laptops that cost a lot more. I have no problems. It has run smoothly and was very easy to set up and to start with. The only thing I'm not crazy is that the small number pad on the keyboard than most laptops that have a numeric field.
The number keys are smaller, and the decimal point is not at the bottom of the figures, where it should be .... It is at the top. So, what confuses me and is pretty much getting used to. Other than that, I totally loved it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
