HP launch 11.6 inch DM1 laptop

HP has a new 11.6-inch laptop started just in time to compete with gateways LT32 and all other makes that have entered this market as well. This HP laptop is the Pavilion DM1. It comes with 250 GB hard drive and the AMD Athlon Neo II with a range of 1.3 GHz (K325) to 1.7GHz (K125). The price starts at about $ 450, but with options and features can creep the price slightly over $ 600!

Compared to HP Pavilion dv5 the HP Pavilion 11.6 inches DM1 has features and specifications:

11.6-inch ultra-note, 5 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive (or 128GB SSD), a 92 percent full-size keyboard, optional external DVD burner, a 6-cell battery good for up to 5.25 hour operation period, VGA webcam and three USB ports, a 5-in-1 card reader and a 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional. On the CPU front, it is AMD’s Athlon II Neo runs the show, with a multitude of choices in the range of 1.3 GHz (K325) to 1.7 GHz (K125) and there is also an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 GPU 1,366 x 768 panel, 802.11 n WiFi, optional WWAN and a total of only 3.24
