Asus Eee Pad EP101TC will run Android instead of Windows CE
The Eee EP101TC pad, you want to run Windows CE, is ditching Microsoft’s operating system for Google’s Android.
The Eee pad is on display at CES 2011, the availability and will be some time in the early 1st Quarter of 2011 begin.
Features we are from that point an 10-inch touchscreen, a know thickness of only 12.2 millimeters and a weight of 675 grams.

It is also reported that deliver Asus carrier partners with preview versions of the device is in December, so expect many more details then at the latest.
Need carrier partners in the first place seems to have also apparent that the Eee pad is 3G connectivity and can be promoted in some markets just like Asus G51JX-X3 was.
Presumably, the version of Android is running, it will always be the next release after 2.2 Froyo. Gingerbread is whether or not named, whether 3.0 or not remains to be seen.
Then one of the reasons for the early market introduction in 2011 was the operating system itself – Asus laptop officially waiting for Google to release first (this should be done in the fourth quarter of this year).
Or maybe Asus just want to see how well the many tablets, set, want to start selling in Q4, “they can adapt their production or the Tablet functions accordingly.
