ASUS Anounces Eee 1215N Multimedia Netbook

ASUS has announced the Asus Eee PC 1215N. The new 12-inch netbook is classified as falling in the multimedia category. It comes with an Intel Atom processor in the D525 can be achieved with a next-generation NVIDIA GPU ION that allows for higher performance in graphics.

The D525 is actually an Intel Atom Dual-Core processor enables it to handle tasks more easily than the previous single-core models such as ASUS G51VX-RX05.

The ION NVIDIA GPU enables 1080p video be played back on the 1366 x 768 screen with no problems or breakdowns after the press release.

Hardware decoder in the embedded 1215N perfectly decode H.264, VC1 and MPEG2 file formats, while the HDMI output makes the full HD 1080p playback on big screens.
