This is my first Mac notebook. I bought a Mac mini last year and just love it. I ended up hooked to television as a home theater PC and found myself in need of a computer at a time when the Mac mini to act as a TV. I was a Dell 2004 laptop upgrade to this and I'm only observing that some things would I like to point out, if you never had a Mac laptop.
Built in webcam, as ambient light sensor, if it brighter darker works in space.
Illuminated buttons.
Touchpad trackpad gestures, the real time-saver in comparison to a full keyboard (and I am a fanatic keyboard)
I have not messed with it yet, but I think you can talk to a MacBook and it will launch applications or do things (do my friends)
The MagSafe Power Adapter is like a magnet connection so if you will not break the cable not kick, it is to pop straight out.
Overall, I like it. It is quite easy. I wanted something light with good battery life. I knew I was with the graphics card on the mini so happy, should I not be disappointed either down here, because it was an improvement on this. I have to question whether the CD drive I use a lot, but I think it's cool if I should rip a CD to iTunes. When I on this day at work next to my Dell and external monitor, I noticed just how dirty brown to see their screens in comparison. The colors on this screen are really great. The keyboard has a nice tactile feel it so well, I really have Never Miss a Beat with this thing. The FireWire connection was useful to my settings from the Mac mini as transmitted.
