Never again on PCs

This is my second Mac, an upgrade in size and disk capacity of my first Mac, a MacBook Pro 15 Intel processor. There was nothing wrong with the old Mac - after 3 1/2 years I have only needed more space on the screen for my work and did not mind the much larger hard drive capacity of the new model, the most striking aspect of my first Mac was that it had never crashed, unlike generations of PCs I use. If I do something really "naughty" to manage my Mac, it's sometimes a software program is closed - but with no appreciable loss of data. In stark contrast to my PC days, I had to encrypt never to recover data. The worst thing I ever did was to inadvertently delete some old e-mails. They proved to easily restore from the external backup. Yes, initially it took a few hours, learn again that several keystrokes on the Mac as on PC. I saved back that in a very short time, then received large dividends, because my Mac never crashed. It works only as it is designed to do.
The most amazing experience with the new Mac was the transfer of my "stuff" from the old to the new Mac. I went to him with some trepidation, because it had taken seemingly endless hours to "stuff" to migrate from old to new PC. In contrast, all had migrated from the old Mac to new Mac in less than an hour via FireWire - and everything worked perfectly. By "everything" I mean not only all the data - files, records, contact details, photos, calendars, etc. - but all the software I had installed on the old Mac. And, everything was exactly where and how I used it, and everything works as it should on my brilliant and major new Mac. It is now supported by even more memory and processor speed, and runs on Snow Leopard - which is as reliable as the previous operating flawlessly, but faster and more efficient, scattered with a few nice new features in.
I still can not believe it took years, not decades, before I got up and fed dumped PCs and their operating systems, faulty or incompatible software and databases for something that works. A student in my family only "took the plunge" to Mac, as she inherited my first Mac - it is enthusiastic. Before that I had borrowed friends - decades PC users - who made prompt me a nice offer for him and have since new Macs purchased from the local Apple Store. They are extremely frugal and conservative people - but it was not long until they find out that a Mac is in every decade, that always works better than a new PC every three years, which often crashes ". Macs are their owners and serve them all the best. PCs sometimes work and expect their owners to serve them and service .. Who is master and who is slave? There is never a doubt with a Mac!
