Acer’s 7-, 10-inch Android tablets seen arriving in fall
PC maker Acer will start selling its seven-inch tablet, and a previously mentioned 10-inch model in the fall of 2010, sources in the notebook industry claimed today. As suggested in the past, the slate on ARM chips will run and use Android, and the company in negotiations with mobile phone operators into the market and possibly to subsidize the prices. The couple is said to have DigiTimes Android 2.2 and Adobe Flash support, along with other media-playback features.

Acer already sells e-book reader and alleged plans to work with Far EasTone Telecommunications for selling them in Taiwan like Acer TravelMate 5730.
Having already shown a seven-inch display as a prototype tablet pc just before Computex, little doubt existed because the smaller model would at least arrive this year. The tablet, promises some of the first major competition at the IPAD, as are virtually all the tablets outside the Galaxy Samsung Tab either small businesses or not come this year. Acer laptop is currently the second largest notebook manufacturer in the world after HP and is more balanced with Apple, which already has three million tablets now have to compete on the market.
