How to get rid of the microphone problem

By Chaz the SemiGeek (Oregon)

This review is for: HP G60-630us

I have this computer and it is a way to get the internal microphone problem. Use a USB microphone headset. This is what I do and it works well.

I have tested the standard microphone port, and it is said poor quality as the other reviewers. I took my voice with him, and the sound was fuzzy and distorted. I knew the words, but the quality was not acceptable and would make you crazy if you had to use it all the time. Shame on HP for that.

However, the laptop is so much to me, a 5 star laptop in any other respect. And I've found that if I my Logitech USB headset (which costs about $ 35.00) to my own voice, the sound quality is excellent use of data. I have also used the USB microphone for speech recognition in Windows 7 to train the results were excellent.

I do not use VoIP or video conferencing, as the people via the built-in microphone, but if you can use these functions with a USB microphone, I do not see why it would not work have complained. Maybe someone that uses these functions can try it and report here.

At the price, it seems like a good business, when all other than it should still work. So far I am happy with it.

If your only concern is the microphone, but you could use a USB mic live (what I have read to give better results in general) tend, then you can consider this model.
