Very Small Netbook!

Pros: I had this netbook for Christmas, and it was great. (Mine came with Windows XP, but the hardware is identical and the same model #). It is actually very lively, what would a netbook for use. If you have not tried gaming or video editing obvious, but for most basic tasks, it is fast. Has a built in card reader in a beautiful, 1GB seems like a lot of RAM, 3 USB ports for connecting everything you need, large (for a netbook) 160GB hard drive. All in all a great little netbook that feels very well constructed. Was worried about typing on the tiny keyboard, but it is actually very simple. Not so comfortable for pages of text at a time, but not as bad as you think.

Cons: Came with a lot of crapware installed as Gateway Wild Tangent games, tests of Office and Antivirus, a version of MS Works that banner advertising works! I spent from the first day of cleaning, so I do not so much starting with the computer. The webcam software will start, is somewhat annoying, so I removed from the start. You can still, when you need it or your IM applications. I also wish the charger was a bit smaller - it is a normal laptop, which seems huge compared to the tiny netbook. Finally, the battery life is not outstanding. Not sure how it compares, but I get about 1.5 hours with wireless internet and listening to music w headphones during the performance of a wireless USB mouse. I think I could get 2 hours tops.

Other Thoughts: Just a good, solid netbook. Pretty much what one would hope, a netbook would be. No big surprises or Letdown
