Asus UL30A-X5

ASUS UL30A X5 performance in the position, smoothly and efficiently handle everything. Could not be happier with the sleek looks and light weight. It looks even better in person than in pictures. This computer is built very well and would say he is up to the much more expensive or name-brand models in the same class.

Keyboard is very easy to use, smart design! Windows 7 is running great on this laptop. Overall, this little laptop a miracle. It is a beautiful piece of hardware that runs very fast, multi-tasking large, dead silent, and I get 10-12 hours of battery life from stock configuration. Asus UL30A-X5 Review

Excellent Ultra-Portable notebook at a great price!

This review is for: ASUS UL30A-X5

I recently bought the Asus UL30A-X5 from Amazon and am very happy with my decision very satisfied. Let me explain briefly what I was looking through a new laptop, as I will the reader a better information in deciding whether this laptop is the right start to think for them. I am currently a student on a budget and has been for the following: 1) Less than $ 700 in price, are looking for 2) screen size from 13 to 14", 3) Windows 7 is already installed (I did not want an older computer with Vista that I would have to manually upgrade to Win 7 am), 4) At least 320 GB HD, 3 GB DDR3 RAM and a Pentium Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor equivalent or higher, 5) thin and light, and 6) + 4 full hours of battery life. Although a netbook offers a small size and easy portability, I did not want to sacrifice power and performance for everyday tasks. On the other hand, I also did not want a large "desktop replacement" laptop, that would be a controversy about round or difficult to carry out, with me at any time, I was off to take home. In summary, I was offered a laptop, a good combination of strength, power, and size for my money. With this being said, here is my impression so far after two days with this computer:

Pros:

Performance process: Able smoothly and efficiently all I wanted to do at this point. It is even faster than my 3 year old 15.6" Dell Inspiron that I originally paid $ 1300 for the time.

Size and weight could not be happier with the sleek looks and light weight. It looks even better in person than in pictures.

Quality: Some people might think you are sacrificing quality for a laptop with these specifications for under $ 700. I think this computer is built very well, and would say he is up to the much more expensive or name-brand models in the same class.

Warranty: The warranty accidental protection provides an additional piece of mind, which also offers something not often at no additional costs in other laptops.

Keyboard: Very easy to use great design!

Mouse pad: I love the textured touchpad on this model. It is difficult to see in the pictures, but the touchpad is not really to the traditional "pad", but a cluster of small dots, the motion of the finger length. Also, I like the additional features such as the situation above or navigate a page by using two fingers anywhere on the pad.

Cons:

-The only thing I'm not too keen is the small (or "small" when compared to my larger laptops) buttons below the touchpad. This may be something that only takes a little getting used to, but it is difficult to click on the buttons than on my older laptop. Again, this is my first 13.3" laptop, so it is probably just the kind of a smaller laptop and I'll get used to it over time, but it's just something I wanted to point out, when you click on a conversion of a large laptop smaller.

Overall, I could not be happier with my purchase. Sure, there are better laptops on the market, some will argue, but only if you are willing to $ 1000 + to spend. This computer definitely deserves 5 stars, and I think anyone who is looking for an affordable, ultra-portable laptop with powerful performance, will be very happy as well.
