Apple MacBook Pro MC118LL/A

As the fresh generation of Apple Computer, Apple MacBook Pro MC118LL/A is glossy as the older models and have to cover a uni-aluminum body. It is 5.5 kilograms and 14.3 x 9.8 x 0.9 cm in the proportions. Overall, it has a sparkling look with all the connections ports on the left side, and DVD Super Drive on the right.

Although you can get a normal Windows OS notebook on the market with similar configuration with a reduced price, let me be straight and say that the Apple MacBook Pro MC118LL/A much better standard than many other laptops in its class achieved. Apple MacBook Pro MC118LL/A Review

Good time to upgrade an older Mac laptop

By J. A. Pape (Louisville, KY USA)

This review is for: Apple MacBook Pro MC118LL/A

For those considering upgrading from an older Mac laptops, the new line-up is very persuasive. My predecessor was the PB G4 1.33 15". I replaced him with the new (mid 2009) 2,53 MB Pro a few weeks ago. Benefits noted previously, in order of importance to me ...

  1. Speed. Of course, but this upgrade is to improve on the pure frustration actually appreciably reduce, went efficiency.
  2. Display. My old ad was livid. The new LED display is beautiful, bright and sharp. The reflections are annoying, but now slightly less so than on the first and the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.
  3. Battery life. No comparison. I put in the rule, but the times I did it off-grid it's run seven hours used.
  4. Compatibility. Snow Leopard, and many other new software require Intel processors. I also occasionally in a site with older, non-standards based software that does not work right with Mac browsers running. Intel Macs can run crossover, a low cost program that some Windows programs like IE 6 & 7 without actually executing the installation of Windows. Of course, if you really want or need to run Windows programs you can install it extensively on these Macs.
  5. The new, larger, multi-function trackpad, backlit keyboard, rigid body uni-design, magnetic mount power cord, built-in SD card slot, thin figure, more powerful speakers, built-in microphone and camera, WiFi reception better, more comfortable keyboard, cooler my lap. Which of these is best? I have laptops used extensively since the PB 150 (1994) and during that time I have kicked "have them all on the floor several times. Based on these experiences, wins the magnetic force fixing of the price, but I like them all.

So if you are already considers how to upgrade a G4-based Mac laptop, a smart upgrade now, its value-conscious decision. It was for me.
