A perfect replacement for a laptop

I have this for my daughter who is in school. She did not want to wear bulkier MacBook Pro. She needed a lot Netbook for their daily use. After extensive research I decided it was better with something they can use their undergradtuate years to go. I ordered the blue color. This had the perfect combination of technical and functional specifications.

Now to the product itself - the quick setup guide said it takes 30 minutes to set them up. It took less than 10 Windows 7, and running in no time. Prompted me to select the network. (What is refreshing for a change, I expect that this behavior is usually only of Apple products).

The processor speed is impressive and can do more than traditional office and web activities Browing. Loaded statistical software, and it burns. My daughter will be him for the operation of complex complex graphics and statistics for their algorthims neuro research projects.

The keyboard, screen is beautiful. The full-size keyboard has a lot of One Touch special funtions that facilitates navigation. I miss the trackball. I have not used the touch pad. The pinching and tilting movements does not feel natural to me (I'm not an iPhone user).

The screen is sharp. HD like quality. It is not full TV screen, as you can see more reflection. The web camera is OK.

The laptop has enough connections for normal use - USB, HDMI, Ethernet, audio jacks, etc.

Battery - it is near the advertised life. Gave me about 6 1 2 hours of moderate to heavy use. Still new, they want more testing before ruling on this. Yet a vast improvment over traditional laptops.

Weight is just awesome. The specifications of this power brings netbook notebook in class, and it still weighs less than half. Of course, if you add an external DVD drive, it will increase somewhat. However, this is a smooth, clean, easy, yet powerful netbook!
