Apple Will Pimp MacBook processor and graphics
Apple very quietly updated the default configuration of its white polycarbonate MacBook on Tuesday. The new model has a better processor, better battery life and a new graphics chip. The updated model is available for purchase immediately.
The white MacBook (also read Apple MacBook Pro MC373LL/A Review and Apple MacBook Pro MC374LL/A Review and Apple MacBook Pro MC024LL/A review) polycarbonate, first introduced in October last year, now gaining 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to the 2.26GHz chip debuted. It is also now sports an Nvidia GeForce 320M graphics chip same in the latest 13-inch MacBook Pro instead of the previous Nvidia GeForce 9400M and Apple boasts that the MacBook’s battery life now stretches to ten hours to seven.
Otherwise, the specifications remain the same: as with the previous model, the MacBook still ships with 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard drive and an 8x double-layer SuperDrive. The price has not changed, holding steady at 999 U.S. dollars.
