McAdam does not offer much in the way of equipment specifications, prices, or even a launch date, but the boss Verizon statements have inspired speculation about a possible competitor to Apple’s IPAD, such as HP TM2t Tablet PC.
But with so little information about this device, many questions remain, including whether it ever see the light of the world. In this spirit, here are five things to consider while we wait for more information on the Verizon Google tablet.
Why Google is not talking?
So far, Verizon is the only partner to talk openly about a possible Google-Verizon tablet. CEO Lowell McAdam told the Wall Street Journal that Verizon are working with Google on the tablet as part of a “deepening of relations” between the two companies. Later, Bloomberg News cited a Verizon spokesman confirmed the tablet project and said more details would come later in the week of laptop reviews. However, Google has not made any public statement, not even a confirmation that it is working with Verizon on a tablet device, or that it will make an announcement made later in the week. Nothing. Maybe Google is just sticking to an internal no-comment policy when it comes to product development, or perhaps comes …
Is it a conspiracy?
An interesting theory of Silicon Alley Insider is that the whole Google-Verizon Tablet cooked the wrong product by the institution to a much sweeter, contact Apple to bring in the ongoing negotiations for the iPhone and to IPAD is Verizon. Of course, this theory is that Verizon and Apple in negotiations over the iPhone and IPAD, which is at this point are only a rumor. Nevertheless, it is an interesting theory.

The Verizon-Google tablet would supposedly run the Android OS, according to Bloomberg News. This suggests either HTC or Motorola would be the most likely candidates for the device, since the two firms are the leading manufacturer of Android on Verizon’s network will be established. Interestingly, this is not the first time with a Motorola Android Tablet connection was made. In December of photos leaked online showed an Android-based MID device from Motorola with a 3.7-inch display, 5 megapixel camera and 3G connectivity.
But in January, Verizon used a test version of Innovative Converged Devices “Android-based 7-inch Ultra tablet of air carrier LTE 4G network. So maybe Verizon familiarity with the equipment, the company asks to adopt ICD’s work.
How far the influence will go Verizon?
If Verizon wants a tablet for his network, what would be the price and technical details? Would you like Verizon is selling a subsidized version, with a two-year plan data, similar to the Mi-Fi? may want the device to a Verizon-only App Store will be closed or would it be free, Android’s Market Place as Motorola Droid using? Also what kind of connectivity would be the device, the same as Apple MacBook Pro MC024LL/A: Wi-Fi, 3G only (like the Kindle), 4G?
