Acer eMacine E725-4520 Review
The Acer eMacine E725-4520 is a budget laptop. It comes with an Intel T4400, which a dual-core CPU running at 2.2 GHz with 800 MHz front-side bus. 3GBs DDR3-800 memory is standard with a 250 GB hard drive installed. The screen is a 15.6 inch LCD with an Intel chipset with GMA4500M 1308MBs powered up the memory. The GMA4500 has 32 MB of memory, the rest is taken from the RAM. The laptop comes with a dual-layer DVD burner and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. There is an SD card reader on the bottom and a WiFi card that supports both B and G.
Battery life
While the laptop comes with a 6-cell battery, it has provided quite good life. Without power-saving settings on all I can about 2 hours of battery life surfing the Web and watching YouTube clips. With the power management, battery life jumps to nearly five hours. Play a movie and obviously reduces the battery life, but you can easily finish a movie and start another one before the battery dies. While gaming the battery for about 2 hours with the power saving settings may, at the last.

Keyboard
I can not stand most laptop keyboards. You feel me tense and the lack of a numeric keypad is a huge turn-off. Thankfully, the E725, which I need. The keys that do not fit through the use of a function key allows that alternative uses can be added for the keys. The buttons feel good and have a nice soft feedback to them. The numbers and letters are printed only on the keys so with continued use it will probably take off.

DDR3
This surprised me. I had to look at the RAM for the laptop, how much could manage it. Finding information was a big of a pain, but once I found out that it had DDR3 I was very happy. I have not seen too many $ 400 laptop with 3GB of DDR3 in them. It looks like it might even be able to 8GBs the information on the Intel’s chipset. The additional speed of DDR3 will help improve the gaming performance, and there is work to the graphics-chip RAM faster. It is not enough to make it great for games, but it let some games to play well.
