Vodafone UK to start iPhone sales Jan. 14, 2010

Vodafone announced in September that it would begin iPhone sales in the United Kingdom in early 2010. Two weeks after the beginning of the year is rather early.

The BBC says will be its 14th Vodafone UK iPhone deals January 2010 start.

Vodafone UK’s CEO Guy Laurence says that his company was prepping to bring its network for the additional demand, the iPhone is more than a year.

The new player, the prices seem in line with rivals O2 and Orange. Vodafone UK’s best iPhone deals are £30 per month for 24 months, with additional fees of £59 8GB iPhone for an iPhone 3G to £239 for a 32GB iPhone 3GS. Vodafone also offers a £35 a month for 24 months a contract of an 8GB iPhone 3G will be included at no additional cost.

Data use for both business and consumer contracts are to be capped at 1 GB per month. The company will also offer tethering at the start with the plans from £5 per month.
