Samsung lauches rugged G-series external HDDs
Samsung has announced a new series of elegant and robust hard drives at CES 2010th Compared with the above picture, stylish means that they meet your grandmother couch. These come in 3 different physical sizes, 1.8″, 2.5″ and 3.5 “.
The drive is rugged enough to survive drops and spills of fluids to survive. The G2 will boast hard disk sizes from 250 GB to 640 GB, while the G3 station will come in 1-2 TB capacity. The G3 shuts off when the computer is off and it is not in use.
This is a nice feature for sure.
