HP Pavilion DV4-1540US Notebook
I use my computer fairly 24-7. I am constantly working to save, internet, light gaming and data functions such as image and such. The HP Pavilion is a decent choice for what I am for them.
I have the laptop about a month ago and I use it since, so far, so good. I was a little off the mark at first, because I am first a pick, just to shut me use it again after a few minutes. I had the helpline, call the really not bad, fast service and friendly. They were not in a position to help, so the next day I brought it back to Circuit City. It was returned with no questions and replaced with another. The second has ever had any problems so I write my first problem is a hardware defect. Not a good sign, but the second does not really have major problems with.

It uses Windows Vista that I would much rather have XP, but you can not see that is on every new laptop now, unless you buy them separate, so I have to do with this. Vista is okay, but it has little quirks that irritate. The computer itself seems nice-nice design, it is small and light enough to bring me to to work and back without any problems. It is a sleek design that commands attention. The only thing about the appearance that it is very shiny attracts fingerprints and such, plus the screen is very smooth, it reflects what’s behind you very easily, making it a little hard to see in the wrong place.
The wireless connection has not failed me yet, it’s gone great. There is a webcam, attached to the top of the screen integrated into the framework. I have not used them yet, so I can not report on the functions of the webcam. The keyboard is easy to use, and the mouse pad is very responsive. There are touch controls on the top of the keyboard for mute, volume, wireless on off and video player. They all work very well, too, it’s a nice design. The battery has a couple of hours on their own, without asking to be plugged lasted, so that’s pretty good, even if you ask me.

Overall, this seems a good deal. It is a cheaper version of a laptop, but it is very reliable. I want someone on that computer, the laptop easily be used for the same type of things that I can not recommend it if you is intense gaming or a lot of video games and large file storage, this is not the model for you. It was definitely enough room for all my personal belongings, even though, and it shows and works with my data very well.
