Rumor: Acer Going to be the First Netbook with Google Chrome OS
It looks like Acer wants ahead of the pack when it comes to releasing a netbook, which will be operated by Google Chrome OS. Digitimes reports that Acer has really developed, “said Chrome OS-powered netbook as early as mid-2009. And if all goes well, we could see the Acer netbook coming in the second half of 2010.
Acer chairman JT Wang said he was optimistic that his company will be the first version of a Chrome-based netbook, the report said.
