North American residents did not hear much from Medion, but they are very popular in Europe. Today, debuted the web shop of the Medion Akoya Mini E1217.

Although it is certainly a sharp netbook, the internals are pretty standard fare. The E1217 sports a 10.1-inch, Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB of DDR2 memory and a 160 GB SATA hard drive.’s On the positive side, leave it a 802.11-enabled wireless prev N, Bluetooth and it is with Windows 7 starter.
