Sharkoon Debuts USB3.0 SATA QuickPort
The new HDD Dock from Sharkoon can handle blazing fast USB 3.0 speed. USB 3.0 speed is equivalent to a tenfold increase in speed over the increase in the older USB 2.0.
The SATA HDD Dock can handle hard drives of either 2.5 “or 3.5″ variety. The device is simple and only on hard drives simple and easy to handle, sporting only a few LEDs and an eject button.
The unit should be in the next few weeks. Note that you have a PC with a USB 3.0-compatible will need the USB 3.0 speeds reach. Sharkoon is akin to selling a PCI expansion card for USB 3.0 port to add capabilities to any PC.
