Dell Adamo XPS ‘world’s thinnest PC laptop’
Dell has just announced the world’s thinnest laptop computer, a device that measures only 9.9 mm thick.
The Dell XPS Adamo by Adamo, the updating last year’s field, a fact that a mere 16.4-millimeters thick, has been praised, but the XPS is shrinking them even further.
The “size 0″ Adamo XPS weighs 1.44kg and measures snip at 340 x 273.9mm.
Within its waif-like body is 4 GB DDR3-800 memory, Intel Core 2 Duo (1.4GHz) Ultra Low Voltage processor and 128 GB solid state drive.
As the size of the screen, the XPS comes with a 13.4-inch high-definition display.
Other features include: a capacitive latching device (a fingerprint, it opens up), integrated location awareness, full-size aluminum Apple Keyboard, built-in 802.11n wireless, 2x USB 2.0, Ethernet connection (via a dongle), and Windows 7 64-bit Edition.
Speaking about the Dell XPS Adamo, Alex Gruz, Dell Senior Vice President of Consumer Products, noted: “Our engineers and designers are new ways and throwing away the old regime with the introduction of Adamo XPS.
