Lenovo Ideapad U150 now available in the US

There is good new and bad news for those who wait has benefits for the Lenovo Ideapad U150 U.S. coast. The good news is that you can order it starting today. The bad news is the U.S. version of the IdeaPad U150 seems in comparison with similarly thin and light notebook Asus and Acer are overpriced.

For $ 699 you can get the 11.6-inch laptop with a dual-core 1.3 GHz Intel Pentium CULV SU4100 processor, Intel X4500 graphics card, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, 3G RAM, 250GB hard drie and 6-cell battery. Or you could pick up an Acer Aspire 1810TZ with almost identical technical data for $ 550.

Lenovo also has a $ 849 model with a dual-core Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB hard drive and a 6-cell battery. This model also supports 802.11a b/g/n WiFi, while the cheaper model, 802.11b g only. But $ 849 seems a lot of money for a computer with a consumer Ultra Low Voltage processor, especially when the Acer Aspire 1810T is available with almost identical figures for $ 600.

Last month reports that the U150 would be for $ 585 and up available. Either ensure that the information was not correct, or Lenovo may offer a price or a different configuration at a lower price in the future.
