Rumor: Sprint to begin offering netbooks in 5 cities

Word on the street is that Sprint is about to commit the latest U.S. wireless provider, is the sale of wireless broadband-enabled netbooks. And through the street, I mean TechVi received an anonymous tip from a source with a pretty good track record. But I’m still so in the rumor bin file now.

Sprint has offered netbooks in the past. This summer the company together with Best Buy and HP on an HP Mini 110 for $ 0.99 you provide when signing up for a 2-year contract. But the offer does not seem to be valid.
