Netbooks running Moblin 2.0 Linux coming soo

Intel Open Source Technology Center, said Imad Sousou, the manufacturer announced netbooks running Moblin 2.0 launch in the next two weeks will. The news came from an interview with ZDNet UK, where Sousou discussed the current state of Moblin Linux. The operating system is optimized for use on netbooks, particularly those with low-power processors like the Intel Atom, and small screens with resolutions of 1024 x 600 pixels or lower.

Originally, Intel was the driving force behind Moblin, and still has style. But management of the project has been handed over to the Linux Foundation. But the custom Linux distribution will also play netbooks by introducing power-saving features, fast boot-time optimizations for nuclear and other processors, and a unique user interface made it easy, a netbook almost more than a web-based consumer electronics device is treated as a computer.

It is not clear that Sousou says netbooks will soon be executed, straight-up Moblin, is used as a complete Linux distribution in its own right, or another operating system, which Moblin technology. A number of projects including Linpus Linux, Fedora, Ubuntu and Xandros have announced they’re working on Moblin integrating functions into its operating systems.
