Dell to Release Z Series laptops with CULV Processors
Dell has a new 14z and 15z models that use Intel processors CULV will be announced. The laptops will come with ultra low power Intel Core 2 Duo processors, which will increase the battery life of notebook computers.
The laptops will offer a series processors up to Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 CPU 1.40 GHz and are based on Intel-based Series 4 chipset with onboard graphics GMA X4500MHD. The 14T variants come with a 14-inch display and the 15z comes with a 15.6-inch with a native resolution of 1366 provided x 768 LCDs are. It is an option of up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and 500 GB hard drive with Wi-Fi b g n, Bluetooth 2.1, 1.3MP webcam and a 7-in-1 card reader.
The 4-cell battery is advertised to produce up to 4 hours, while the 6-cell battery manages up to 8 hours battery life. There is also the option for express recharge batteries, which charge up to 80% within one hour. The price of the notebook is between $ 599 and $ 1034 depending on the installed components.
