MSI Adds 16-Inch Notebooks To Classic Series

The recently introduced Classic series of notebooks from MSI, which began with the 14-inch notebook CR400 last week, has just been expanded with the arrival of the promised 16-inch CX600 and CR600. Either wedge-shaped and sports 45-degree edges, and the same surface as the imprint CR400. The 1366×768 resolution display and the LED backlighting, while the touchpad buttons are made of brushed metal. Where they begin, in its graphics power, such as the CX600 is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 3D card with 512 MB RAM, while the CR600 has the NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G GPU that shares system memory, and adds an HDMI port.
Otherwise, data, functions and facilities are identical, with both systems seem to tilt the scales in the same near 5.5lbs with a six-cell battery. Users get the same choice of unspecified Intel Core 2 Duo processors, Wi-Fi compatibility, a 1.3-megapixel camera and an optional Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR connection. Hard Drives come with preinstalled Windows Vista Home Premium in 250 GB, 320 GB or 500 GB capacity. Three USB ports adorn either notebook, and it is an optical DVD drive. A VGA output for both. There is support for up to 4 GB of RAM, either in the CR600 or CX600 if MSI does not specify what the standard specification.
Prices or premiere dates for Taiwan not bee announced yet whether the notebook is on the North American market.
