Blue Octopus USB Laptop Cooler

Blue Octopus USB Laptop Cooler

This is by far the most interesting looking laptop cooler I have around. Unfortunately it is in your laptop, so that although it looks very good, it is not seeing a whole lot. The strange shape of this USB cooler is inspired by an octopus. Although I would say it’s incredibly debatable as to whether it actually looks like an octopus. It is at least a draw the attention, while it keeps your laptop much more cool.

It has a double fan, so will hopefully be enough for laptops, which tend to burn hot. If it is not actually used, it can be folded for easy storage. This also means that it is much easier to slip it in your laptop bag and take it with you when you’re on. To the fans in operation, then plug it into the USB port on your laptop. It is a pretty basic gadget, but it makes things much easier for you.

Sony Vaio W will be more expensive in Australia than in the US

Sony Vaio W will be more expensive in Australia than in the US

A lot of people have pointed out that the Sony Vaio Mini W start price of $ 499 in the U.S. is about 100 U.S. dollars more expensive than comparable notebooks from other companies. But that’s nothing compared to the premium Sony is charging Australian customers. In this country, the mini Vaio W will sell for $ 999 AUD or about $ 776 U.S..

On the one side, most computers do not cost more in Australia than the U.S.. But the age indicates that most Netbook sell for about $ 600 Australian, or about $476  U.S.

Sony apparently has a few explanations: Exchange rates, Australian marketing and so on. But the only explanation I can come really, is that Sony does not really want to sell this many units Netbook in Australia.

NES themed netbook cover

NES themed netbook cover

A handful Netbook makers ship their laptops with simple black slipcase. Some not. And there are certainly a number of shops, third slip covers on Amazon or eBay. But you know what? Not one of them has the geek CRED this handmade NES controller Netbook sleeves.

Flickr users mendicon says his girlfriend, which is the case for the Acer Aspire One Netbook. The case seems to be felt, and it does not look like it has a lot of cushioning. Thus, while it is likely to hold the computer, scuffed and scratched, it is not to protect the laptop from damage, if you look out the window of a moving vehicle or something. And unfortunately, I’m pretty sure you do not use it to play Zelda. But it’s still pretty awesome.
