In what seems like a natural partnership, Asus and Disney have opted for the development of Disney Netpal-a Netbook specifically for children who are “fun, web-safe and easy to use.”

The Netpal has a rugged design, a 8.9-inch LCD display, Wi-Fi capabilities, Windows XP Home, and more than 40 parents, including the additional filter in browsers and e-mail. There is also a Disney-themed UI “Gadget Tray”, which offers a customized e-mail, browser, icons, themes, widgets, and kid-friendly software.

For me, Netbook, and children always make sense, so that if I had children who Netpal would be an interesting option for a first computer.
